alky or methanol injection?

Hi everyone, i'm new here and would like to say hi to everyone first.

Ok, i've got a 87 GN that i just bought and is all stock. I'm getting ready to upgrade the exhaust system and start adding some underhood mods. And bump the boost up. I've been reading some about this water injection and what it does and was wondering what all is need to build a kit (parts list) and how much boost you can run with this injection. I'd like to use a methanol kit or a alky kit (which is better and easyer to use and build?)I've also got a twin turboed 93 mustang GT that i'd like to add an injection kit to also, so if anyone can tell me what all is needed to build one. Methanol=alcohol

How much boost.. depends.. I have gone over 30 PSI personally. I have seen quite a few go into the upper 20's(25-29). Tho your fuel system, injectors, turbo, etc.. all must be able to handle that pressure. And the motor must be mechanically sound. Also you will need a scantool to monitor knock retard, run a custom alcohol program on the "chip" within the computer, and learn to tune the car. A street 93 octane chip will get you pretty far.

There are a few recipes for a DIY kit on the net. Steve Monroes is the most popular.

Myself and SMC are the two companies catering to the turbo Buicks as far as kits are concerned.
