Alky or propane for really hot air?

With discharge temps around 250-275 which would suit me better? Just because the temps are lower with the alky does that automatically mean that it will be more effective at reducing knock than the propane at a higher discharge temp?

I'll second the propane. The fuel atomizes quicker... and should distribute more evenly.
