I installed my Alky kit today (thanks Razor), and took it to the track tonight.

My best to date was a 13.56 at 101mph with a 1.9ish 60'

My first run of the night was a 13.27@106.

My last run was a 12.59@109. Same crappy 1.9 60'. This was close to 25lb of boost with 23/20 degrees of timing.

That is a full second and 8mph...and I've only begun to tune it.

Time to get some goodies for my rear suspension, and a good set of drag radials.

KICK ASS!!!!

I cant wait until i get my Alky kit!!!!

When i had my WH1 about 15 years ago i ran a best of 12.46@114 with TE34, 40 lb (red stripe) injectors, bosch ext pump, adj FPR, max effort, hooker DP w/ deltagate, 3in mandrel bent dual with ultraflo straight through muffs, 112 oct unleaded, airbag, and hoosier quicktime DOTs 26" tall. i was stoked! So i know you are excite as well, let us know what you do with DRs and some more tuning!!!

Congrats!!!

Congrats, we have similar combos. Trust me you have more power left on the table:cool::D.

Glad your having fun with it.. now its time to slowly work on the timeslip. With a mid 1.6 60 foot in better weather it will run solid 11's.

Thanks guys.

Alky is one of those "Why didn't I do this sooner??" upgrades. Night and day difference. My car pulled pretty good at 15lb, and it's downright nasty at 25lb. Nail the throttle below 45mph with street tires, and they're spinning pretty good.

Fifteen years ago I had a 70 Camaro with a SBC that I turned into a drag car. It cost me a ton of money to get it into the twelves...and its street manners sucked. (the car had the potential to go low 11s with the combo I had in it...life got in the way)
