Got to the track this past weekend with some denatured and I was able to run about 23 psi in top gear and 22 degrees timing but upon launching the car it would pop almost immediately out of the hole (have Caspers knock guage - about 24 psi in 1st gear). I had the spray kicking on at about 8 psi at max speed. All my knock was showing up in low gear. Is this a normal occurrence? My 02s were n the low 800s. If I turn it on any lower I'll be out of alky in no time or should I maybe turn it on a little lower but turn the pump speed down? I've just started tuning with the denatured and am just looking for suggestions. I run 92 octane gas with a TE62, AC 3500, Casper's Thumbwheel, CAS V4, 868s and stock motor. My testing was cut short by my posi unit going south.
