Well being that its the holidays i drove the car down to Poinciana, FL to visit the family and while i was down there i paid Julio a visit and had him install one of his kits.
First of i like to say the couple of times i spoke to julio over the phone he was always helpfull and never was rushing to get you off the phone.
I drove out to his house in what it seemed to be a nice florida day that was until i reached his neighborhood and the rain just started pouring, oh yea i had the ttops off, needless to say i had to pull into someones drive way to put them back on but i was still a little drenched when i showed up to his house. As soon as he opened the hood is like class was in session and the man pointed out things that were wrong or that might need changing. Once the install began he pointed out everything he was doing what everything did and also fixed and rerouted a couple of things along the way. The install took a little over 3 hours, rain and all which kinda sucked cause i couldnt really get into it when it came time to test drive the car but i was very pleased.
Over all im extremely happy with the results its literally a day and night difference. I learned quite a bit those few hours, alot of the things kinda flew over my head a bit but i did pick up good load of info.
Oh and Julio i went ahead and ordered the impala ss maf sensor along with the maf translator so i should have it for my trip back up to va. One more thing you wasnt kidding bout the car waking up i havent cranked up the boost from where set it but so far pushing around 22 lbs and no knock, im hoping to crank it up some more next couple of days and maybe even some more once the maf comes in.
