All Stock 87 Regal want more where do I begin?

Hello,

I just purchased a beautiful 87 Regal Limited T-Type Turbo with leather, moonroof, concert sound, and other stock options. The car is 100% stock and has 83k on it. I went ahead and cleaned the intercooler, intake and pipes. Now I am looking to start making it a faster car!

My question is: Without spending tons of money what are some ways that I can get my car to go much faster. What mods should I start with first? I am looking to get the car well into the 13's possibly even in the 12's. Car does not have posi.

First get you a scantool and a fuel pump with a hotwire kit. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator, good street chip and race chip. Do the spring cleaning on the car. Like new fuel filter, plugs, you already did the intercooler thats good. Good luck!!!

You should first start off by doing as much research as possible on these cars. This site is definately one of the best. You should check out gnttype.org also. Look for spring cleaning, once you get that done go to performance reciepes. Good luck. HTH, Mike

General tune up and maintenance. (fluids, filters, blah blah)
Performance fuel pump.
Scan tool.
Call Red Armstrong (search for Quad Air on this board), ask for his "catalog". Last page has a host of free/cheap stuff to get the budget guy dialed in.

scanmaster ,adj fuel reg and fuel pump , cold air intake should put you on the right track . depending on your money situation a chip fuel injectors and exhaust. good luck choose your parts wisely
