how many people are upgrading to a thicker guage of wire on the back of the alternator i checked my alternator at the back it was 14.23 at the battery it was 13.88 do i need to upgrade the wire and what guage should i use

Probably not a major problem on your car.

If you upgrade go with 6 gauge wire and good ends.
