Does anybody make an aluminum drive shaft for our cars? Anybody here using one? Any feedback?

TIA

ATR sells one, comes with solid u-joints and a new heavy duty yoke. all for $350 weighs 10#s.
If you plan on making over 600hp I would not use it. Mark Williams ent. makes (2) much stronger alum. shafts and Chromemoly shafts for big HP. Trust me you dont want to have a drive shaft grenade at full steam it make a BIG mess of your exhaust and trans tunnel. The stock shaft is good up to 1.5 60fts then a better shaft should be considered.

Anybody here run that ATR bar? It fit ok? I assume it would have to but you never know with ATR.

ATR Aluminum Drive Shaft:

You might have to remake your drive shaft hoop because of clearance with the larger diameter aluminum shaft, and check the clearance with dual exhaust near rear of drive shaft.

These cars are like women, no two are alike.

I have 2 1/2 dual exhaust and have the rear lowered about 1-inch and my drive shaft would hit the exhaust (in a hard turn) just before the muffler. I moved the exhuast and redid all the trailing arm bushings, problem solved.
