These are mildly polished aluminum valve covers with two breather holes. These covers are 2 1/4" tall and will fit the TA aluminum heads. A board member on here has these exact covers on his TA heads.

You only need grommets, these come with the bolts.

$120 shipped

I got a set of these made for my TA heads. Unfortunately, the guy selling these used my specs to make a set made for Dr. Booster which obviously won't fit stock or GN1 heads as the gasket seat is much lower than the TA.

These are the shortest clearance possible on mine at .580 lift FYI.

Pics are here at the end of the Buick album. http://community.webshots.com/user/halogrinder

These are not the actual covers being sold but the same specs. Mine do not have breather holes in the pictures as I opted to cut the holes myself so I could position them where I wanted them. Hope this helps, Dr. Booster.

They are really nice, bolts are recessed, the gasket rail is nice and flat, and they look bitchin.

Thanks for the help Disco, for those interested, the covers are on Disco's page 6 and 7.

They look sweet polished and if you are worried about the clearance, you can always get the RJC spacers or double gasket them ( cheaper ).

These are still available. But are going on ebay the next time I get a 50 cent insertion email from them.

PM me if you are still interested.

Last weekend for the GN guys to get these or they appear on ebay.

need pics of the actual covers thanks, very interested!

Pics of the covers. Going on ebay in a few days.

is there a baffle under the oil breather holes?

DR Booster

You have purchased several of these. What height cover would i need for a GN1R head with roller rockers.

Thanks

Doc Boost

If Louie's above statement is true, I would like a set of VC without breather holes.

Or

Could you post who made these VC so I can get a set made to my specs. I am running 1.75 ratio rockers/pedestal type.

My third set are for the factory style heads and are going to be 3".

I am interested in these, but if they don't fir my jesel rockers, i want a full refund via paypal

Norbs, can you give me the measurements of your rockers at full lift, from the tip of the adjustment screw to the gasket surface? like so.

I should be able to tell you if the will fit or not.

BTW, I am a non involved party here, just trying to help Dr. Booster out here since I have the same VC's for my TA heads (T&D rockers)

And also, if you would Norbs, can you PM me info on your rockers? Price, vendor, will they clear 1.5" springs etc.

Hate to see you having such a hard time getting rid of such nice pieces. I know that the TA heads are not that widely used yet, but these are the only aftermarket valvecovers there are that will clear the heater box with these heads (by my measurements, I have not put the engine in yet. But I have more clearance than I had with irons and tall TA covers).
IMO these are the nicest covers I have seen on an LC2.

If anybody needs to see a pic of these on a longblock let me know and I will take some.

Once again, the pic will be of my covers. Not Dr. Boosters which have breathers in the center of both covers.

I am still thinking about them, but i have to spend to fix the breather holes, thats my only issue, aslo still have to measure i my rockers are gonna fit.
