So I'm gonna get a lot of opinions on this so let's see who really is at fault here..... Situation goes like this.

For those of you that don't want to click it and read, here is what I wroted in the original post.Mind you what I didn't write in the original post, it is in my signature. Simple enough I thought.
"TT chip set for turbotweak's 60lb inj. (actually 65 [ones i have]), 92-93 octane, 16-18lbs boost, 60-1 turbo/stage 3 billet, 2800 lockup converter, lt1 maf and translator, powerplate, 43 spark plugs..... obviously you guys know the the critical parameters.

Something along those lines."

I sent out a pm to one of the responders to the thread and the conversation goes as follows.

Buyer: "I see you are in the city. Are you available any day of the week before 1pm? If not you can ship it. If we can meet ill give you the cash in hand or if mailing PayPal." Tuesday at 8:25 PM
Seller: "I'm in Staten Island , I'm home in the morning tomorrow & Thursday - I go back to work at JFK THURSDAY 2 pm-10 pm, whereabouts are you?" Tuesday at 8:42 PM

Buyer: I'm in Clifton, jersey. North jersey about 15 minutes from the city. I guess the best way is to just mail is. How much more for like priority mail for it to get here by Friday the latest?" Tuesday at 9:25 PM
Seller: "I can mail it first thing in the morning in nj and you should have it by Friday .i think priory is like $14 or $15. But don't think you need to send to send it that way if I mail it over the bridge into NJ." Tuesday at 9:40 PM
Buyer: "I'd call now but its a bit late and i just got outta work. Just sent $65. Whatever you don't use you can send back.

Buyer: "I just received the chip and looked over the paperwork and the chip does not match my criteria that i posted in the thread at all. I need for a 92-93 octane and the chip is set for 98. This is a real member. He has 7,151 posts. Don't know if that is good or bad.

So the extender extreme chip that I received was burned for the following combo......

98 OCTANE (23 LOW, 21 HIGH), STOCK DATASTREAM, 65LB INJECTORS, WASTEGATE 85/50%, IDLE/REV/SHIFTLITE 800 IDLE, 6000 REV LIMIT (200-208 cam, so not stock), REVISION "E", NO THEFT OR VALET.

Send it back and if you have a problem paypal will most likely protect you, if you PP is connected to your credit card, you CC will protect you. With these chips all being custom pieces, I'm amazed anyone would buy a used chip to save a few bucks. If a few bucks is going to break the bank, your car will have a lot of down time.

Yea i thought about the PayPal covering me, but i sent money as a gift so that aint happening. I was only trying to get a used chip in order to get my car semi running without the powerlogger until i get my pl back and tt chip so that then i can get the right settings on the used chip. Need toget some other factors fixed.

Guy looks like he has been on the board awhile, don't think he is going to risk his rep over a few bucks. Otherwise that is what the feedback forum is for. Send it priority or express for a few bucks and get your money back, otherwise he will have problems selling here in the future. Not worth all the stress you're putting yourself through for the amount of money involved. He posted he would give you the 65 if you get it back in a couple days, otherwise Shane or JayC will get on his case, they don't like people screwing people over on the board.

I agree with what you are saying, but TurboBob already talked to me and I have a deal going on with him. He had his chance in the pm's I sent him that everyone can read here. If he didn't want to do it then, why should I believe he will do it now. He wasted my time and I do not want to have any further business with him.

Also if he has been on the board a while, why even do stuff like that and act like I am in the wrong. I never gave him petty attitude or used inappropriate language. I would have looked the other way on the chip if it was burned for 92-93 octane. I have no access to that fuel. It's whatever at this point. Mr. Bailey has pretty much helped me 10 fold with my ecms/powerlogger and now here. Shane and JayC do not need to intervene. I would just appreciate it that people know what went down. Let other future buyers beware of his potential actions and business.

In the feedback section, I posted his name and 2 other members responded with their own shady deals they had with him. There was also a thread that I believe was locked due to the shady deals with those two members.

Buyers beware.

P.S. = First I deal with Daronne Edwards and now this guy. I beginnign to think I attract all this b.s. *Sigh*

I make over $100K annually so your measely $15. Ain't going do nothing for me. If I sent the money first what guarantee would I have to get my chip back in the condition it was in when I sent it out? I offered your money back if you sent it back, or if you personally brought it in person in Staten Island I would have exchanged it.

Would you cut it out already?! I'm not trying to lost my reputation when I'll be keeping the car for years and years to come. You can ask of the the people I've dealt with in the past about me or you can check out my ebay feedback rating. I'm a really chill dude, but when you start stepping on my toes because you have "experience" here with these cars, or been here for years on the board, you think you can do whatever it is you please and have it your way and everyone will side with you. You have yet to deny anything said above..... So that tells me a few things, for one, you sent me a part that I wasn't looking for (just because it fits one of my criteria, doesn't mean it is for me). Secondly, you agree with the fact that you want me to lose on shipping because you sent me a part that I can't use. Thirdly, how are you going to use the same shit against me with sending chip first for money or no money and how you can trust me. That is a load of shit.

You couldn't get rid of the chip so you said it was something it was not in order to sell it. Then you go and tell everyone that I don't know what I'm looking for and I'm indecisive, novice, etc.... Let's focus on you instead. Back in 2003 you did the same thing with the side marker lights to a different member. There was no way you could sell them as is because you just wouldn't be able to sell them. You played it off you had no time to get pictures up, buyer sent you the money without being sure of the condition (went off your word, which to me means shit now) and got a shit item. No way in hell was it new. Then you tried playing it off by saying that's how you received them.

I see past the bullshit and don't need it. I have my own shit to deal with and do not need any of your nonsense. You had your chance to send me the money back including shipping (I would have overnighted it). Oh and did I not send the money, while driving back form work, without any issues?! I trusted you and you can't return the favor?! I now know what kind of person you are.
