2+ years to build the positive, just to be able to build the negative molds ! Talk about modeling to the extreme. I wonder if the model is actually being built to fly? He did install servos for all the parts that require movement and the engine bays looked to be made to hold some type of engine. RC turbo fans or minature jets?

Gave me a whole new realm of respect for mold makers. Extremely sweet, just wish the whole site was in english.

Having been involved in R/C modeling for 13 years now, I have built many kits as well as scratch projects. All I can say is WOW....I am speechless. Harald Huf is a modern day Michelangelo!!!!

I did a little research on the plane and it is infact going to fly using a pair of Jetcat P200 engines each rated at:

Thrust: 45 lbs/inch² @ 112,000 RPM

Weight: 5 lbs

Diameter: 5.12 inches

RPM Range: 32,000 - 112,000 RPM
Exhaust gas temp.: 580°C-690°C

Fuel consumption: 24 oz per/min at full power

Fuel: Jet A1, 1-K kerosene

Lubrication: approximately 5% synthetic Oil in the fuel

Maintenance interval: 25 hours

Unreal !! On page 55 he talks about the tank capacities and the fact that two Jet Cat P200 engines(BIG MONEY TOY TURBINES see link for the specs!) will fit in there....I'd hope that after all that work it's gonna fly !! Too bad he's not still in Berlin, my daughter is only an hour away..Love to check that thing out..
