Ambient temp stuck on 50 degrees

With regalgs.org down, figured I'd try here. I've got a problem on my 02 GS with my ambient temp display stuck on 50 degrees. I replaced the temp sensor, but nothing has changed. Any ideas what else to look at? Is there something to reset? I unplugged the battery to no avail.

Have you replaced the battery recently?

I had a similar problem a while back that was I thought was temp sensor-related. I had istalled a new Delco battery and accidentally pinched the wire that leads to the sensor. I removed that battery and saw a spot where the insulation was missing. This was after I purchased a new sensor.

No, I haven't changed anything on it lately. It runs great and hasn't needed anything, other than the temp display fixed. I'll check the wire to the sensor again, but I didn't notice anything wrong with it. Thanks.

Any other ideas?
