i didnt catch all the details but, the discovery channel is going to have a new show coming up. much like American Choppers, but dealing with car fabrication. nice, just what i was hopping for.

i think, they said it was starting next sunday at 10.. but i could be mistaken..

i am looking foward to watching it... you?

Pretty Nifty

I think the best part of the show is the yellin' and screamin' that goes on. Reminds me of my disfunctional relationship with my father. If they don't include the conflict I can't see it being as good as the chopper show.

good show, was impressed that most of the fabrication was done in house.
definitely going to be another weekly show to watch!

I wasn't impressed. It was interesting but I was disappointed that it was just a large "production line" for hot rods.

I guess it simply popped my bubble that hot rods were one of a kind built by one person over many years of his life.

But, he did pick the colors, LOL

Judging from the cars that were in the background, it looks like he's just cashing in on what his name used to mean.

Pretty car, but without any real soul, IMO.

yeah, i was kinda sorta dissappointed, i thoght they were going to show more fabrication. but they pretty much just showed how to put together a kit car... maybe they will show more fabrication in other shows. and better looking cars...

i wish my boss would do burn outs to get me motivated...

I do beleive they used the premolded glass body do to time restraints. I know when chip foose worked for him all the cars were built from the ground up.
Its a business and theres no way you can run a business with 1 guy building 1 car at a time

Wish some vendors here would realise that :)
