A bit long, but please read.

We've all gotten the emails from people in Nigeria, Ethopia, South Africa, etc. saying they are the descedants of some powerful leader who embezelled $10 trillion dollars and want to send it to you to "launder".. Sure, right, someone I never met wants to trust me with such a large amount of money. I truly hope noone was naive enough to fall for this. While these emails are ridiculous and a nuisance, I just hit the delete button and go on.

However, they have now reached a new low. This morning after reading about xclr8ngn's friend (soldier) who died in battle and getting my emotions stirred up, I get the following email from some dip****, lowlife scum...

FROM: Sgt. Michael Doherty
Important Message

Good day to you
My name is Michael Doherty i am an American soldier, i am serving
in the military of the 1st Armored Division in Iraq. I am now in
Kuwait at the mean time, I and my superior moved funds belonging
to Saddam Hussein, the total is $25,000,000.00 (Twenty Five
million US dollars) this money is being kept safe in a security
company. Basically since we are working for the government we cannot keep
these funds, but we want to transfer and move the funds to you, so
that you can keep it for us in your safe account or an offshore account.
We will divide the total funds in three ways, since we are 3
involved. This means that you will take 30%, I will take 30%, and my
superior will take 30%. 10% will be kept aside for expenses. This business
is confidential, and it should not be discussed with anyone.
There is no risk involved whatsoever. If you are interested i will send
you the full details, my job is to find a good partner that we can trust
and that will assist us. Can i trust you? When you receive this letter,
kindly send me an e-mail signifying your interest including your most
confidential telephone/fax numbers for quick communication also your
contact details. This business is risk free. Reply me on this email:
sgtmicheal1@yahoo.com Respectfully submitted

Ok, now I'm pissed. How can anyone be such a lowlife to take on the identity of an American soldier and more-so to defame the American soldier by having portraying himself as an embezzler/launderer.. Sorry for the rant, this just chapped my ass.

God Bless all the real Americans and to hell with the scumbags!

and the sad part about it is there might be some fool out there who believes it, too bad we can't give them the account for the u.s. treasury dept, i like to see them try to withdraw funds from them or any gov agency, i bet that put a stop to this $hit, i read about xclr8ngn's friend also, i hope they find a way to pull thru:(

We've elected a Draft Dodger to the Presidency, and now a self admitted war criminal is having a good show at winning. The Doherty scam looks minor, in comparison, IMO.

You'd think that since the Savings and Loan fiasco people would have gotten really clear about scams, obviously not.
