Americruise is here in town =)

Yep, Here in Lincoln Nebraska this weekend we have thousands of cruisers driving around town.
If any one is here from the BB have fun and stay out of trouble. Lincoln is the only city that has repeated the cruise for the past 6 years so I think that's great for the city!

I was at the fairgrounds as a spectator, then went over to Glenwood to see some drag racing. Mom and dad were up there for the cruise and said they saw a GN and a T. I need to meet more of you lincoln/omaha guys. You should host a get together sometime.

I loved going to the americruise when it first was in lincoln, but the americruise was much more fun when it changed cities every year.
i haven't been there in a few years, so maybe i should go and see if its as fun as it used to be

Well having lived in Nebraska and seen that part of Americruse all I have to say is that you should have been down here in FL last year for the kick off of the 2006 HOTROD PowerTour. The Orange Co Convention Center is bigger than the entire city of Lincoln. JK, probally the size of the fairgrounds all the way down to UN Memorial Stadium anyway. It's huge. It makes anything back in the old 'hood look small anyway. Is Bill Smith still around? If it wasn't for Speedway Motors I doubt anything would be going on there, as far as Americruise and Power Tours go.

Yeah speedy bill is still around. That museum of his is absolutely amazing, I could spend a whole week just visiting that place.
