Well, it's in the driveway now.....
I went through and did an initial inspection of goods.....
Interior:
Most of the interior trim was removed, boxed up, and stored in a shed. The seats have been covered the whole time and look pretty damn good. The dash is in excellent shape as well as the dash pad they had it covered with. It has the 145MPH cluster installed. The owner passed on the boxes of interior parts and a few NOS ones as well.
Exterior:
Every part of the body, with exception of the front end, has been smashed or dented extensively(spinout pinball apparently...)

. All of the wheels are straight and have some minor surface rust in the usual areas. The windshield is toast, but the rest of the glass is fine. All of the emblems were missing. The good news is the frame appears to be unmolested through all of the trauma.
Engine:
Pure stock with the exception of the vacuum brake conversion(the PO said he had a "hard pedal" issue and replaced the whole unit. The engine started right up with starting fluid through the vaccum line to the brakes and ran for about ~20 seconds with no knocks or rattles. The PO said the car has been started and warmed up at least once a month since it was wrecked ~6 years ago with the exception of the last 5 months(no fuel pressure...the pump fires up though). The entire engine are shows no signs of distress or damage from the wreck.
The Trunk!:
Surprise Surprise Surprise!
There is a complete GNX style dash loaded with VDO gauges
There is a NOS power antenna (complete unit)
Five(5) NOS Power Six center caps (1 slightly used)
NOS Double Roller timing chain
NOS Engine ground kit
Complete PowerMaster setup (needs a new accumulator...see above)
NOS 85MPH cluster plate
NOS driver side door felt guide
NOS heater hose kit
Spare Driver side header
Kirbans Guide to 86-87 Turbo Regals
And several small Delco bags with miscellanious screws and trim goodies
I still haven't started digging in the inside of the car yet so who knows what I'll find
As I mentioned before, my primary interest in this car is the drive train. All of the other stuff is useless to me. So.....there will be a lot of parts kicked aside once I get rollin' on the "GST" project.
I was able to get the car for $3500....
The really sad part of this story is the lady was visibly upset and crying as the car was being loaded on the truck. I assured her I would stop back later sometime and giv her a ride in my 87. She immediately perked up with a heart felt "Really?".
