Turbobuick group,
I'm making a trip to see my wife's family in South Carolina over the 4th of July weekend. If anyone needs help transporting a vehicle from central TX to Alabama, Georgia or the Carolinas, I can assist. I'm headed out there empty but coming back loaded. I'm a private collector and and do not do tranport for a living. I do have a 50 ft car hauler with winch and am making several trips to the Carolinas to retrieve my own project vehicles over the next couple of years.
Everyone knows that it costs an arm and a leg to transport your project 1000+ miles. I'd be glad to take your vehicle if its relatively close to my route and you help me cover fuel expenses (maybe $.50 per mile...half what most pros are quoting). I'll be taking I35 to I20 to I85 and will be leaving the 29th of this month. Please contact me if you have any interest.
