Is the fan supposed to run after the key is turned off? Mine does not, whats the best way to tell if its working properly?

Thanks

Car has to be at about 226 degrees water temps. for it to stay on after the key is off.

A quick test of that useless system is to put a ground on the dark green with yellow striped wire on the big fan delay relay with the car idling.

Turn the key off and it should run on the timer, don't forget to remove the ground wire when done testing.

If you release the wire the fan will stop running instantly. When the wire is" grounded" it will run for 10 minutes only. The fan will run on highspeed also, doing a good job of killing the battery sometimes. You can replace the 226f sendor with a 185-170 sensor. Painless wiring sells them. Summit racing

I am working on a variable speed fan controller. That will be plug and play. Stay tuned
