Another exhaust question

My GN has a straight pipe about 3 ft long coming off the cat. No mufflers. Will the car perform better once I get the full exhaust on?

Probably not. If it really still has a cat on there, it will probably perform better if you replaced the cat with a "test pipe" and put on a 2.5" dual exhaust with "straight through" mufflers.

Our cars work best when the backpressure after the turbo is the least. A cat would have more backpressure than a good exhaust system.
