another fuel pump ?

i have a walbro 340 pump/hotwire kit rom ractronix and i know its all plug n play but, i can see the nipple i attach the supplied rubber hose to which i assume is the feed line and next to it is a small port which i assume is the return line...are my assumptions correct? and if they are do you just attach the stock return line into the small return port next to the feed nipple or is there something included in the kit that addresses this also? thanks

Did yours have the pulsanator (sp) damper on the pump?
Did you notice the necked down part of the line that the damper connected to about it. Use a hawsaw or whatever to cut off the necked down part of the pipe. The use a reamer or whatever you have to remove the burrs from the pipe, then blow or clean it out.
The rubber hose is only used to connect the new fuel pump to the line you just have cut off. DO NOT use the damper. TOSS it out. Use the hose clamps to secure the hose to the pump & tube.

Connect the adapter harness to the pump and to the original FP harness. Install the pump filter (sock) and put everything back in the tank. Don't worry about the other lines, there is nothing you are suppose to do to them.
