Another use for the ashtray

Ashtrays annoy me.... (Non smoker) but they usually offer a nice place for little mods.

Here's what I've turned mine into. $9 charger port off eBay and some time fiddling in the shop....
A much needed update for out one 12v. socket cars.

and yes, the door still closes to hide it all.

Very nice update. Mine has had a mount for switches for years. Fuel shut off, hi speed fan etc. But I do like yours.

Ya, I knew they were being repurposed for other things like switches, which contributed to my thinking of using it for this.
