In the market for a new converter and am dead-set on a 9x11 converter from TCS.
Right now:
stock motor and internals with TA49, alky, stretch loc IC, 3"DP/Hooker exh, DR's, etc. Basically all the bolt-ons
For the future:
Champion heads and intake, roller cam and slightly bigger turbo...basically a high 10.xx combo
The car will keep a stock height sized tire, stock rear end ratio, etc but I want something that will work with my current setup and leave room for my future combo even if that means dealing with a slightly loose converter with my present setup. Car will see little to no track time and will remain a weekend driver with the possibility of being a backup daily driver. Spoke with Rusty at TCS and he said a 3000rpm stall may be the answer.
