How do you go about registering your vahicle as an antique once its 25 years old?
And what about state inspections once its registered as an antique?
How much are the fees?

Thanks

Thanks for the link Crow.

Anyone know about how safety inspections work once its registered as an antique...do you still have to get it inspected every year? They just do a safety inspection already...anything any different?

I had old plates put on my 72GS last year and registered it as a antique.

The tags are good for 5 years but as I understand it you still must do a safety inspection every year?

Mine was due this year in Jan., but I haven't had time to take it in.

My buddy has a 71' Cuda registered as an antique and he says you don't ever have to have it inspected.

Well, I went up to the County Court house to register it, and the lady said for the $50 for 5years registration, the car can only be driven at parades and to car shows..thats it. Can't drive for pleasure....The classic registration allows you to put Classic plates on or you can have personalized Classic plates for additional $15 per year on top of the yearly registration.....
So no bargain there....I just registered as usually and paid my $45...

Does that sound right or was this lady crazy?
