I went and bought some windshield wipers last night and having some trouble installing them. The old ones were held on with a screw going through the slit int he arm. Am I missing a part or can't I use the ANCO wipers? I looks liek they would work if I flip the tab around on the wiper but they don't work that way:rolleyes: . THe snap clip needs to be on the top, not the bottom like 99% of gm cars. THis sucks. can't see anything when the windshield fogs over:mad:

just so you guys know its my 93 t/a. It's my DD so I need this answered sometime soon:wink: . THanks everyone.

Searched for like 3 hours and come up with nuttin:mad: . Can't take it anymore. I posted over on ls1lt1 and they act like they've never put wipers on them before and I'm stupid for asking:rolleyes: . Coulda swore I saw SGRIM on there once. Hopefully I'll get some help with this bump.

***Some "purties" would be nice for it but gotta put some speakers and new switches in it before I get to even put a CAI on it:redface: Using the pass side door lock switch for the pass window.

Not sure about installing the new arm. The OEM ones that have screws in them are usually a pain when it comes to installing a new wiper.

If old and new are the exact same length maybe you could just pull the rubber insert out of the new one and feed it through the old arm.

I install blades here at my lube shop and I got to tell you that is the only car that gives me fits on the install. You kinda have to reverse and twist to get them on, think in those terms and you should finally get them on, they are a
PITA, and definitely not your normal blade install, need to strangle the design engineer on that one.

I think I might just take these ancos back and go to the dealer and get some delcos. THe screws don't even look right and I just don't see why there would have to be screws when there should be a wiper that just clips on. I just don't understand why they would design the hole for the clip to be on the top instead of the bottom like the rest of the gm vehicles:rolleyes: , makes no sense:confused:

Maybe I could get a pic from someone?? In the meantime I'm gonna call the dealer.
