I lost a center cap for one of my aftermarket rims and I've had no luck trying to find a replacement (tried American Racing too). I figure I have three options. Don't worry about it(not likely since it's ugly that way), Find a centercap somewhere, or find someone to custom make a set of caps to replace the originals.

Anybody know of place that might be able to find a replacement center cap?

I have found several other people on the internet who are looking for the same center caps, so if I had someone make a custom set, I could either sell my original caps to them, or talk them into buying a custom set of caps to spread the setup costs between several people.

Anyone know where I might be able to get a custom set of center caps made in Aluminum, plastic,or some other material?

The rims are American racing Series 398. The rims have hidden lugs and have a screw on center cap. I got them in the early 90's and spent about $1300 for the set so I would rather find a cap than replace them.

here is a pic of a AR-398 rim. it isn't the same offset as mine but the center is the same.

And here's a couple pics of just the cap.

The center caps screw into the rims. The diameter of the threaded part of the cap is 2 7/8" The hex part of the cap is 3 5/16" and the widest part of the flange that sits against the face
of the rim is 4 1/4".

Thanks
