I have heard a few mustangs, a 93 teal cobra and 98 cobra on yellowbullet.com but so far no turbo cars. Anyone hear of any? Funny thing is a scrapyard dealer in Maryland told me hes getting 200 plus cars and that the scrapyards have a 6 month window till January to part out all the cars and what not. Hes also saying quite a few dealers arent seizing the motors and that there is no list or addendum attached to these cars titles saying they get a salvage title. Some rumors i have heard is the steel is heading to Korea and more importantly China to pay off our small trade deficit lol:eek: Benefits foreign car manufacturers, really doesnt take the really pos cars off the street, trust me i work the worst part of Las Vegas and the same ghetto beaters are still there, most if not all are on the clunker list:mad: , and really is a band aid for a temporary sales increase for the automakers. Wait a few months when you put a hurting on the auto industry like used car dealerships b/c everyone bought a new car and wait a few more months before the people who traded in junkers with no credit and nothing more than the initial government credit to put a payment on their vehicle, and repo guys will beneift. Sounds like Clinton when he felt everyone with no credit or money should have a house b/c it was "the American dream." Looks like that went well for the US!

Anyone turning in a TR for this program will be hunted down and shot.

They can take the mustangs and just give them to the chinese...:p

I agree you'd have to be pretty stupid to send a turbo Buick into cash for clunkers. Even sending in a 5.0 Mustang, unless it's rusted to death and the engine and transmission were on their last legs, you'd be pretty stupid.

Really IMO the only ones smart enough to use the CFC program are those that have a car that is nowhere worth $3500...but can actually afford the new car payments...
