Anyboby added a race muffler , or resenator , to their single exhaust to quiten it down ?

It will quiet it a little but not much but if u have a little more room try to consider adding a Magnaflow turbo muffler somewhere along your pipeline (not the bullet type) which i did for my obnoxious noisy Dart block 383 twin turbo set up and it turned out very very nice and more livable for street driving.

Space is tight. If I slice a section out of the downpipe , could gain the 1/2" height to add a 4" race bullet muff.
But seams to be the opinion that it wont help that much anyway.
