I have actually paid more than $10k for a parts car .Hell I have sold rollers for that !! BUT I am stupid when it comes to them. I have no idea what he wanted for the car.. Although it really doesn't matter what he wants.. IT'S HIS CAR some of you guys are taking this car junk way to serious !! I like when a car comes up at a fairly good price.. Everyone jumps up an down with the "IF" factor :biggrin: 4 months later the car is still for sale.. Bottom line on a car is what someone with CASH will pay for it

Well at 10k I was figuring it had a lot of aftermarket performance parts,I would use what I could and part the rest out.If I got a nice drive train as a spare here,I would sell the rest.I buy cars and strip them sometimes.

Didnt realize it was yours,I was asking if anyone here owned it,I had just seen that the seller just joined the site it is for sale on,the ad was very vague,I was only doing a little homework before I went to look at it,where is the problem?I found your ad here,it wasn't even for the same amount,sorry for the confusion??

Hey Hot Air... you might want to check out this link. Most on the board are not keen on parting cars out... yet most of us wouldnt have restored cars without parts cars. I understand both sides.

Yeah do us a favor JUST buy what you need out of the parts or vendor section. Pleanty of speedo parts.. Better yet go an see GRUMPY or OTTO or JACK C. these guys will be happy to help you out.

Now there is some great advice,now it makes me wonder why you bought a 1982 S-10 instead of a 2010 ? I am quite sure there are dealers in your area that would be happy to sell you a new truck.

Kind of hard to get a custom convertible V-8 powered S10 since they never have/don't make em at dealers genius. This ride is replacing the TT.

Hate to say it but I have had more THUMBS up in this ride than I have had in 5 years with the TT.

But you could have bought all the parts brand new and did it yourself with a new one,oh and btw that sun visor looks very usefull on a topless truck,do you only drive at sunset?LOL,and that THUMBS up you see may not be a thumb at all but a short finger,LOL and does that exhaust pipe get hot that close to your head?

Why waste my time doing one. It would cost me more than what I paid for this one. That is as dense as you spending 10k for a parts car.

Your the one with the detour pipe in your brain!
