Anybody know what this style posi is called?

I'm not familiar with this style. It's in my 87 GN. Anybody know?

With that many preload springs I would say it's a cone type posi. I think the Auburns are that style.

I think it's original to the car. Did GM use Auburn's?

Our cars came with an Eaton style posi.

That is a Auburn unit for sure..... I thought they only put the cone style one's in from the factory and that would only be in later model cars...
