I can guess , but when changing my PCV valve, I noticed a (steel or brass tube) it was night, inline with the PCV. one side had an inlet like when you put air into your tire, the other just an opening. I can guess it is to keep boost from leaking or entering. I think I put it in backwards because now the car seems to surge at low rpms. Hmmmm I will try to turn it around and see if that is what is causing it but does anyone else use this? This has been on the car since I bought it and never noticed it.

I use it, it works great, it prevents boost from entering the intake manifold at WOT it's more like an extra insurance added to the PCV check valve.

Cool, Just want to make sure the right way to install it

The side with the tire inflater nipple or whatever you call it goes towards the PCV or the vacuum block?

I dont know i will have to look at my to be able to verify for sure, go to this site and call this guy i am sure you got the same product he sells on his site which is exactly what i have, there maybe also instruction on his site as to how it goes installed..I know that the site you blow on and air doesnt go through should be facing the block, you dont want any air going into your crackcase once ur at WOT and this is what this product prevents it works exactly like the PCV valve but better.. :)
