I was wondering if anyone on here does their own zinc/cad plating, with one of the kits from Carswell's, Eastwoods or any others. If so I like get any info you care to share around ease, set up, pic's of set up, pic's of finished product, quality, etc.
I was wanting to zinc coat some items then refinish with the blacken.
Things like bolts, nuts etc. Just not really sure if from a cost stand point it is worth it.....or just go through the trouble of trying to find the proper size bolts....
Some of the bolts I've got are pretty ruff, so I'm guessing I'd need to tumble and chase the threads.
