Played it for 5 hours yesterday. Totally awesome. Much better than GT4 on PS2 IMO. You can put slicks on it too.

better in what ways plz do tell. I have the logitech pro 2 wheel for GT4 and of course i have gt4. It doesn't get much better right?

if its different like with better graphics or pictures n such never mind then, im thinking mainly from a driving and racing point of view. I have never played a more realistic driving simulation game EVER period. The graphics i care less about.

GT4

I used the wheel on GT4. AWESOME. My father-in-law is actually builing a sit down arcade cabinet for it with race seat w/sub woofer under it and a roll cage made out of RVC pipe. Don't get me wrong, love GT4. I think the Forza on Xbox plays at a much faster rate. Could be the frames per sec are increased over GT4 but, I also feel the customizing works better than GT4 and I like the overall feel. Never tried a wheel on Forza yet so it may suck but, with the old game pad, Forza seems to be more fun but still keeping the sim feel. Just my opinion. GT4 roccks too.

Whats your Buick setup?

I have mine maxed out, pushing 600hp. I have the front lowered all the way, rear height to 7.5, trans total gears to 3.73, and rear tire pressure to 26, running a 10.1. Any other adjustments slow me down.

Only other thing I've done is set my anti-roll bar, front to 40, rear to 30.

i have forza, and my friend has gt4, and i have to say i like gt4 more. 100 tracks vs. about 20 if that. 400 cars vs. probably 150, granted gt4 fas a lot of hidious cars, seriously who wants to race a preis?

i think graphics on gt4 are a little better, more realistic anyways. i think there are several other small details that make gt4 better, but forza is definatly an awesome game.

by the way i've went 9.9x in the gnx. i don't remember what fine tuning things i've done to it. i know it has 4.10 gears and a lot of suspension stuff. and ran with traction controll off.

i've also ran a 7 something, back it all the way up and let it rip. the timmer starts when you cross the line.

This is gonna sound stupid, but am I to understand that there is a dragstrip on GT4? I am old and have lost touch with the video game crowd, but I do have GT4 on my PS2 and didn't realize that you could do that....

yup. 2 of them actually. i think its in the upper right area of the main screen go to power and speed, then if i remember right you have several options. there is a drag strip at the test track (0-400 or 400 something) and there is also a drag strip in vegas.
