Anyone from Greater ATLANTA?

Want to share some tips about the area? Man for $200k I could pay cash for a real nice joint to live?

What counties to avoid, Do they TAX alot of things?
Where is the High tech jobs in the suburbs area?
Drag strips?

I have no interest in city life.

Any help would be appreciated

The smallest suburb of Atlanta is bigger than Manchester

Traffic is atrocious..worse than Boston.

If you don't like city life then forget Atlanta.

200k will buy you a decent house outside of the city. Much more than you can buy around Boston but much less than most of Georgia...if that makes sense.

Man, you are not kidding about the traffice. It's awful and getting worse! The suburbs are growing at a riduculous rate.

On the other hand, there are some really nice areas outside the city limits!

Thanks.. Yes I want WAY outside of city limits. I was checking Cherokee county. Seems like they have a hiway that just ends up there.

I want to be able to ride my motocross bikes & have land & BIG GARAGE. Actually I don't want neighbors anymore.

Work is my only hamper.

I live in south Cherokee and it is what country folk would call "busy". I-575 can get extremely crowded when you are going south toward Atlanta during commuting hours. You have to move to North Cherokee to get away from the rush. It is an excellent growth area to invest in a home.

I live in Paulding County, just about 45 mins from down town atlanta and from the airport. Also I have a 1/8th mile drag strip maybe 10 mins away. Very Nice area to live in and also alot of good old country folks. Only problem is the girls look sooooooooo damn good

Well, there's your problem then Steve. Your wife will never allow you out of the house, you DOM! Around here there are so many fat and ugly females it's best to stay with what you got. There's a house in Milford that has a large flat yard and a 53x32 barn on it, 300k.

I lived in Nashua for 6 years.

Winter is mid 50 degrees during the day and 40 degrees overnight and lasts about a month.



How's Milford looking now?

Cherokee county is the place to be. There are about 6 or 7 motorcross tracks within an hour and ten more within another hour. I have a six year old and we race every weekends. There are about 3 drag strips within an hour also. Send me a PM and I will give you my home number if you want more info.
