Anyone goin to Kirbans new bldg/show?

It looks like a pretty cool show/swap/vendor meet! It's October 5th and 6th, plus there's an optional banquet later in the pm.

I'm in NJ and it's probably a 1-1/2 hour ride to their new facility in Pennsy.

If anyone is going, I'd like to meet up with anyone. It's weird talking on this board but NEVER meeting anyone face to face!

Long drive for me and I'm racing the following weekend.

I would like to talk to the detailing vendor that will be there and maybe pick up some parts.

Was planning on vending there for the whole weekend but the New England Buick Racing Association's annual BBQ is slated for that Sunday! Soooo, might just vend at Kirban's on Sat without the car and head to MA for the BBQ on Sunday with the GN.

I have to chuckle reading the latest Kirban telling what Molly will sign and how he will sign it and that he will only sign a few things.

You'd think Molly was Mickey Mantle or something at a card show, I mean come on the guy designed or had a hand in designing the turbo 6 emblem, its not like he was the one who decided to stick an intercooler on the 86 and 87 models and voila.

But I'm sure it'll make Dennis a few bucks that weekend.

Yaa I saw the whole "Molly" thing......It was like the Second Coming or something! And I just got my WE-4 outta the body shop with some fresh BLACK.....So NOBODY is writing ANYTHING on my baby!

What do you think the turnout will be like?? 25, 50, 100 cars????

Yep, I'm planning on going as long as the weather's ok. It's getting to the point where I'm going to have to tap into NORAD or something to check weather patterns across states for fear of actually having to deal with rain falling on my car.

Rich, I live in the Burlington area of NJ {Southern part of state}

I'll be taking NJ TP to PA TP to Doylestown exit....and so on.

I was thinking of putting my Board name {Speedy1320} on the dash or windshield so people from the Board could figure out who is who !

But yaaa I'd like to park WE-4's together ANYDAY too!

I am sure Dennis Kirban will be counting $$$ signs rather than sheep after this event....still can't get past the idea of having to pay Kirban money just for the priviledge of buying his stuff at the "open house"

As far as Dennis making money........well......you gotta give him Some credit for making a business outta parts for these cars and SUCCEEDING in a tough economy!

Besides, would YOU want to orchestrate this whole thing for FREE? {He might NOT sell any parts that day, that's not a guaranteed thing!!} So I for one am MORE than willing to pay the cheap entrance fee!!!

Besides, I just took my 68 CHARGER RT to a show today, and it cost 12 bucks! And the food was NOT free.....it was expensive.

Did I gripe? Nope. I love the car events too much, and I appreciate the TIME and LABOR it takes to plan such an event.

Ok, ok, let me get off my soap-box.....

Again, lookin forward to a cool show and meeting some good people!
