anyone have a NICE VMAX or 1100 Shadow for sale

v-max's are nice and fast but they have a tendancy to lose 2nd gear unless you're easy on it. kinda weak like a 200r4

I love the VMax had a '00 until recently. It's the only true muscle bike out there.

To my knowledge only the first two years 85 and 86 had 2nd gear problems. I love mine. It's a perfect companion to the GN(plus the 97 model is black and silver)....... Ross L

Steer clear of the V-Max's from California, they were detuned to pass emissions and make a measly 90 HP

If I had a bit more muscle to handle a bike of that size, i would definitely had one. Just sat on a new one, only $10.5k It's a sweet bike for sure though, truly the GN of motorcycles! Good luck with finding one, I always see a couple for sale in Uncle Henrys up here, but they're sure not giving the used ones away! Good luck finding somebody who has babied it, that's not the point of that bike!
