Anyone have the part number for the hood struts ?

Anyone have the GM part number for the hood struts. Would like to order them through GMpartsdirect.

Sorry, but I don't know the part number. I went to Auto zone when my struts finally gave out. I just told the guy what I was looking for, year and make/model and he came back with the new struts. They looked identical to the original. Fit and finish was great.
They also have the trunk struts when yours quit working. They also fit very well and quality seems to be the same. Hope you find what you need.:smile:

BTW, instead of buying from GMpartdirect and getting ripped on shipping..order from either of these folks, there prices beat GMpD anyday and shipping is fair...either of them on this list are great to deal with.

What 2Quic6 said is true... We supply the GM Struts.. # 14019157 down in Australia for like US$38.. and thats imported from the US and transist costs paid and an import duty etc.. If we had to supply inside the US they would be around US$25 each. But that is the GM one.. ..you could also ask for say Gabriel # 4422 from one of the guys 2Quik6 mentioned .. that looks again just the same less the small print showing Delco /GM.
