62mm

I believe 62 mm will go through the walls. I have a 62 MM and when the guy started boreijng it he went through the wall in places. I had to have the sides welded to build up enough material. Looks awful.

Common sense tells me to bore the tb to the same dia. as the inlet of turbo, so unless you have a 62 turbo, a 62 mm tb is not necessary.

Do you know how large you can bore without breaking through the wall on the Hot Air TB?

Me think

60 mm before haveing to make material on the sides. Any amount of enlargeing will go through in one small area. Look the TB over and have that spot welded before starting.

thanks everyone . i am going to go with steve monroe to mod my tb . he said 58 mm all the way thru should flow good enuff. getting some other mods done to go with this 87 computer with reds 93 chip/jim craig"ta48"/atr headers/porting intake,this should be fun if it all can work together.
