I want to get a couple of tshrirts made.. 1 color, nothing special. The image I want on them seems to be in violation of Zazzle, Cafe Press, etc's copyright policy. I think theyre wrong but whatever. Im not interested in selling them, I just want a couple for myself. Is there anyone here that could help me out?

The Fairfield Line, Inc.

Jay-

My company reps gloves for these guys and they screen print shirts as well. Been in business a LONG time and I could probably get you a good deal.

Ty

If you can check, that would be great. I only want like 6 shirts so screenprinting may not be an option but its only 1 color (black) on a white tshirt.

Email sent.. let me know what we need to do to get the ball rolling.

Thanks guys!

LOL Ty..na, jes most if not everyone wouldnt even touch 6 shirts
If i got good line art sent and nothing that i have to go in and photoshop then I can burn it on screen for about 30 biscuits, thats for 10 shirts

figure 10 shirts in vacuum bag shipped for less then 15 bucks round trip plus the 30 my cost...grand total of $45

Black will have to swiped twice due to bleed through, makes a little extra work but........

na i knew, thanks for compliment on my boy..im proud

as far as the shirts go...i got the pic...yall remember the old muffler commercial where the guy looks down and say hmmmm now thats a tuffy...
well this pic is from pen and ink with greys, so in order to make it work id have to get rid of the grey and or turn it to black and a couple of the pics might lose some clarity...i can try it in photoshop (errr) lol and see what it looks like anyway

Mike, just send it over to 24hourartwork.com and let them vectorize it for $12.00. Cheaper than the hour or so you will need to spend cleaning up the image.

ohhhh vectorize..sounds evil..lol

I converted it some last night, still have to get rid of some of the greys before i vectorize it...thanks for the link though Mach almost cheaper sometimes to send out and let someone else monkey with stuff

I started using them 3 years ago and never looked back. Most of my accounts (corporate) generally supply vector art, but there are times when I get bitmap files. Although both Corel and Illustrator have decent tracing programs, sometimes, they produce way too many nodes to work with. Simpler to send them and e-mail and next day get vector files.

Don't know if noticed, but that is $12.00 no matter how many print colors. A friend, actually got rid of his art department and is using them for all but simple paste up stuff. He is saving a bundle between paying his artist the salaries he was paying and benefits.

You can take artwork to Kinkos or Copyright and have it ironed on for about $10 total. Not quite the same, but if you need 1 or 2 shirts its hard to beat.

I've never had a problem vectorizing art with illustrator, but it can create a lot of nodes as mentioned. For $12 its hard to beat. If it took me an hour to clean up a file, it would cost about 7 times that much! I don't do artwork for cheap! ;)
