classified ad removed ...if it was the one i was thinking it was listed with a red honda civic ....i bought it last night

The price was good and I was going to go look at it, but there were just too many unknowns.
What kind of shape is it in?
When I talked to Pepito on the phone, he was pretty vague about the condition of the body, and didn't know anything about the engine other than it was "all done up"

Post some pics of it when you get them. I'd be interested to see it.

gunslinger, i dont even know the dudes name haha ...he didnt know much about it but i was close and price was decent for me to go look at it ....bottom of doors are rusted ...and drivers side was side swiped a little not bad ...2 rot holes under drivers seat ...but car did have some work done to it he just didnt know exactly he just said same thing to you "done up " ..also no keys with the car but title and vin on dash matched ..ill get some pics sometime this week ...just posted a thread in the tech area looking for some help with the car there is a motor pic in there ...

PS, i got it much cheaper then that price in the ad

Nice...congrats on getting the price down, it was pretty good to start with.

I picked up an 86 a couple of weeks ago, and like you, am in the process of finding out what's wrong with he car and fixing it.
