Anyone notice something weird happening with this site?

It happened 3 times now...periodic connection trouble that sends me to some other site(s). I'll type in the address and hit enter, but I'm not ending up here. Happened late last night and earlier today...only lasts for what appears to be a few minutes.

The sites are not offensive, no advertising, and basically benign in nature...so I doubt it is a bug on my side...but maybe...I dunno.

Hackers?

Check your machine for spyware or smakc your ISP around. Who is your ISP BTW??

If you were to put it into your "favorites" and bring it up by clicking on it, would it do the same thing?

I'm not very puter wise but I seem to remember reading something about a type of virus that will redirect your browser to another website.

Try running your virus checker or if you don't have one go to:

www.pcpitstop.com and use the free one.

I have a virus program (pccillin), but nothing is found.

I'm thinking it might be my ISP (charter cable) since nobody else appears to be having the same problem.

It's weird though, it only happens on this site....and it just happened about 30 minutes ago!! However, this time it said the page couldn't be found....WEIRD!!!

It sounds like you've got some spyware or trojans on your system. Or perhaps your ISP is having a problem. I haven't noticed anything like that.

As Jeremy said, get ad-aware and spybot. Both free downloads. Load 'em up and scan your computer. Also Hi-Jack this, but try the other two first. Search google for them.

definately spyware.....anti-virus won't help you with that
get spybot...most user friendly

if you don't know anything about computers then don't use hijackthis!
