I know I know it's a stupid question but;) The reason I want to know is because the control arm that is connected to the puck that bolts up to the turbo is burning thru my new heatshield and starting to burn the hoodliner. I know racegates and deltagates are expensive and won't give me a preformance gain but replacing heatshields and hoodliners ever 3 months is even more expensive. TIA

i run one on the crossover on my lee thompson headers.

Just finished installing mine last night. I'll let you know. Why not buy the hoodliner shield buick from hell designed to save the hood liner? Just a thought, usually the heat from the turbo location cooks this area or at least that's what I'm finding...

I did buy the one Buick From Hell made actually I suggested that he make them. It lasted about three months. I;ll be sending my turbo in to Limit soon so I'll deal with it then.

Well, that's not encouraging, I really don't want to replace my hood liner. We talked of putting heat resistant material between the shield and the hood as well between the liner and the hood. I don't relish the idea of cooking my new paint.....
