anyone run a d5 with a PT53?

I know it's an old ass turbo, but I figure there's gotta be some old schoolers that have tried it out. What's the max boost and hp or quarter mile times you got out of it? Just trying to find some info on them since search didn't bring up much info.

Even with a restalled d5 it will suck. I ran a restalled d5 with a pt54 about 12 years ago. It was ok if I left at 10-12psi but lazy otherwise. It will be a turd on the street. It was out of breath at 23-24psi when I was testing turbos on the dyno. I ran it for all it was worth.

I finally found some old threads on the turbo. Sounds like the 53 and 54 like at least a 3k stall. So yeah, I bet it's going to be a dog Guess I'll have to live with it until I get around to putting in a converter. Looks like people have ran good times with it though.
