If not what pump(s) are you currently running other than a single in-tank? Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. :)

I plan to keep the stock feed line, and run a larger return. Do you guys still run the stock fuel lines? Thanks!

I run a #8 feed and #6 return. With the 6 return, I can run both pumps full time eliminating the hobbs switch and relay for the second pump. My battery is in the trunk also which makes the fuel pump circuit a snap. Here's a partial pic to show what I'm talking about.

Geoff,
Here's a couple more. Let me know if you need anything more specific.

I run braided #8 feed and #6 return. I kick the 2nd pump on at full throttle with a micro switch. I would atleast replace your feed line with #8. If you want to save some money use the original feed line as the return.

Hey Scott! :)

The only track on our island (Oahu) closed permanently on 4/1/06. The island with 80% of the state's population (and almost all of the TR's) has no track. All of the other islands have tracks. Go figure... Anyway, there's not much of an incentive to do anything on our cars right now...

One of my friends also mentioned that the metco cell has to remain pretty much full in order to run a double pumper setup, due to the fact that the hanger rests pretty high within the cell. this is the case on his car anyway... So I was thinking about going external instead. I'm still undecided.

Are you going to Phoenix in November?

Unfortunately, I already have plane tickets home for Thanksgiving, so I won't be there.
As far as the double pumpers in the Metco cell. The cell is advertised at 6.2 gallons. I find that right at 5 gallons are useable.

Are you using a Red Armstrong DP setup?

So the car will run at anything above 1.2 gallons in the cell?

Too bad about Nov. I wanted to see another 9.xx run from you. :)

Geoff, Obviously, I've never run the car out of gas to test its low limit. But, with this setup you retain your original sending unit and fuel gauge. When the gauge shows empty it takes 5 gallons to fill it up. HTH, Scott
edit: I have an ATR double pumper.

Do you (or anyone else) know if the ATR and the Red Armstrong are the same height? That is do they both pick up fuel from the same level when installed?

The ability to use the factory gauge would be nice... So would some sort of switch (between the Metco & stock tank) that I could enable on the fly.
