Have a connection question. I have the old style translator. The one with 3 connections. It os the translator plus. I'm having issues with a few connections. I know one goes to the LTI MAF I'm running, but do I need an adapter to go from the car harness to the translator harness. And where to tie into for spark. If someone is running this maybe a picture. I downloaded the brochure off the internet, but to me some instructions are conflicting

I have the Trans +, but the car is down at my parents. I'll try to get a picture for you tomorrow of the trans + set up, engine is out of the car though. You shouldn't need an adapter to the maf

Thanks man. It seems like a connector doesn't fit here. You have the one with the 3 connections as well?

it probably has an LT1 end for connection to engine harness maf connector , it needs an adapter or you cut into wires and wire it in

Pictures are always nice here

The green, black and pink wire plug running from the translator unconnected on top of the A/C lines I believe...should there be an adapter in between that and the original plug that goes into the MAF (pictured sitting by the filter w/ orange grommet around it) because they don't match up. Also, the grey and white connector; through research I found that this can either be connected or doesn't need to be. It is for spark, but where to tie or hardwire it into? Will full throttle have the connector if I need it? I haven't been able to access their forum for a few days, I would suppose it is down.

Sorry, won't be able to get a picture of mine today. The grey/white connector should have another connector with it that also has the grey/white wires. Those go to a specific wire that is in the ignition module wiring.

Just hook up the MAF connection for now. Get the car running well with the new MAF before tapping into the timing circuit. My trans plus had issues controlling the timing which led to backfiring, stumbling, and stalling. I disconnected the timing wire since.
I think that's part of the reason it's no longer made.

I'm going to call FullThrottle tommorrow and see what they have to say.

Did you ever get that connected. I'm having the same issue.

I got it connected man. There is an adapter plug that you need since they don't match up. Someone chimed on and hooked me up and sold me one. It works like a champ. I think I paid like 30 or so bucks. Let me find out who sold it to me

Dudes name was Turbobob. Contact him, he sold me what I needed

Thanks I'll try to find him. Did he say he had more?

He's the one who made the trans-pus among a lot of other electronics that we use.

S/M, 2 step,TR6 IGN. chips, SD2 just to name a few.
