Anyone running these valve covers?

Hey guys I bought these valve covers from a guy on here and I asked him if they would clear a stock heater box and he said yes but when I went to put them on it looks like they are not going fit with the heater box heat shield. Anyone running these?

I had to trim the heat shield away to get those on and off. I totally cut the bottom portion of the shield off.

Log in name looks familiar. Did I buy em from you? Also do I have to run that heat shield?

Didn't buy them from me. I don't think the shield is needed.
