Are 6x9's in Rear Possible?

Just like the title says, I want 6x9's in the rear of my buick for obvious reasons (bass, selection, power) has anyone fit them on the back deck? I've seen a sick stereo installed in an 86 where someone put speakers on the cloth area under the rear side windows, next to the rear bench seat.

Yes, You can definitely put 6 x 9s in the rear deck. I've got them in mine and many others do as well. To do it right, you need 4 x 10 to 6 x 9 adapter baffles which are available through Metra and at most car stereo stores and online suppliers. Good luck. Cost is about 12-15 dollars.

Yes, I have and some have done real neat installs in the rear sides. Perhaps someone who has actually done it can chime in here.
