To make a long story short I messed up the tranny during a race last year. I was manually shifting and when I went to put it in second the shifter cable broke. This caused the engine to rev very high in first gear. I had to drive about 15 miles home in first taching about 4,000 rpms the whole way. When they rebuilt the tranny it shifted just like I wanted except for the stacked shift was now there. He took the valve body home and cleaned the bores and everything real good. For the most part the stacked shift was gone. It would come back every now and then though. The valve body is just sitting on the floor in the other room. I'm trying to get everything right this week and was going to get a BRF valve body from a person on this board, a big servo, and get them both put in. Money's very tight right now and spending some to hopefully fix a problem is not in the cards. I know you can't do this for free so it may be a bit before I can send it to you to have you check it out. I would hate to buy a new valve body only to have mine fixed for half the price but would also hate to pay and still have the stacked shift. I feel confident in your abilities, that's not the problem. The problem is my luck...(as the saying goes) if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck.
