Are Indy heads worth having?

I just got a set of indy heads with a whole bunch of S2 parts and dont know ANYTHING about them?I also got a Hogan intake thats for a NA
motor and it looks like you can make it into a FI turbo intake pretty easy.Does anybody know anything about these parts?

Are your Indy heads the ones with the rather square intake ports? I think they were intended more for the smaller CI motors; you'll have a hard time finding an intake w/ports to match.

Hogan builds some nice manifolds; if you got a tunnel ram style one, put a flat top on it, cut it for a throttle body in the front of the plenum, weld injector bungs in, and it should rock. Wait, I forgot, they suck...wanna sell it for $50?

That's the heads I was talking about...I don't think they're going to be much use for a drag motor. Looks like you've got 2 nice sets of "regular" S2 heads anyway. Is that an on or off center?

Its a 25500153 on center 4.1
I got 4 sets of heads and the indy heads are paper weights i guess.Oh well they were part of the deal and what a deal it was
whats a set of ported cylinder heads by Chapman go for?
Or the hogan intake for a carb?(Nice Piece)

Anybody need a set of 6.2 aluminum rods new for $300.00

I don't think you can use aluminum rods on a street car.

Indy heads will not flow nearly as much as Busch or ASA heads and they usually take a 10 mm plug instead of the normal 14mm. They are still much better than a Champion or M&A but they dont have what it takes for a serious piece.
