hmm looks exactly like my stockers but maybe both of ours are aftermarket!

well i would put my money on them being stock!

Phillips screws? I doubt it. GM uses phillips trim scres, but those look like countersink type screws. If GM doesnt use a trim screw, they use a 9/32 headed screw, so no, I doubt those are iriginal

Actually the screws do look original but the speakers certainly aren't. ;)

Not even close, but they look like a good co-axial upgrade however. :)

Take one out, probably say Pioneer on the back.

You know, that would have been the smart thing to do before I put that piece back over it. D'oh

Aftermarket speakers, stock speaker screws.
Yes, those are what GM used to put the dash speakers in.
The stock speakers I pulled out had a black mesh type material over the top.

Stockers were Delco tweeters at about 10 ohms.

Yours are probably 4 ohm replacements so you could check the wiring and read them with a meter to be sure.

DC readings will be around those values on a good ohm meter.

The ones you have in there now should work well on most radios but probably still need a bass blocker of some sort in there.
