ARP head studs difference

123-4003 and 123-4203, they say they both fit and I would like to know the diff. between the two, and which ones should be used, so I'm asking you guys for your humble opinion, thanks. the price diff. between the two is about 25-30$.

The 123-4003 has Hex nuts and the 123-4203 comes with 12 point nuts. I always use the Hex on Iron heads. Some 14 bolt heads require 12 ponit nuts in some locations.

Do the arp studs with the hex heads have the alen head recess in the end of them? I'm needing to order head studs quickly.

The studs that were on my motor had the 12 point nuts and no recess. It was a bitch to remove them with the ac/heat stuff in the way.
